Gutter work we do around Kansas City
New seamless gutters
Seamless K-style gutters in 5-inch or 6-inch sizes, with downspouts placed where the water can run away from the house. Size, footage and downspout spots are in your written scope before we install anything.
Gutter replacement
Gutters that sag, drip at the seams or have pulled away from the fascia come down, and new runs go up pitched toward the downspouts so water stops spilling over the edge.
Leaf Relief gutter guards
If your gutters are sound but fill with leaves every fall, Ply Gem Leaf Relief fits existing 5-inch and 6-inch gutters and mounts to the gutter without lifting shingles.
Gutter tune-ups
Not every overflow means new gutters. Sometimes a clean-out and reseat is enough, and we'll say so when that's the case.
Signs your gutters aren't keeping up
- Water pours over the front of the gutter in a hard rain instead of reaching the downspout.
- Gutters lean away from the fascia, or spikes and hangers are backing out.
- Drips or rust lines at the seams and corners.
- Soil washing out or water standing along the foundation below a downspout.
- Dents in gutters and downspouts after hail, which is also a reason to have the roof looked at.
5-inch or 6-inch?
5-inch K-style is the common size on many homes. 6-inch carries more water and is worth a look for big or steep roof sections, long runs, or corners that overflow every storm. On a larger two-story home in Overland Park or Olathe with long runs, that extra capacity can matter. We look at where your roof sends water and put the size, downspout spots and footage in your written scope.

Keep the gutters you have? Guards or a tune-up may do it
Big shade trees in established Shawnee and Lenexa neighborhoods can clog a gutter fast in the fall. If yours are solid, we install Ply Gem Leaf Relief gutter guards on existing 5-inch and 6-inch gutters. If they only need a clean-out and reseat, a tune-up may be all it takes. If they're sagging, leaking at the seams or pulling off the fascia, replacement is usually the better spend, and we'll show you why.

Kansas City gutter questions

- Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
- It depends on how much roof drains into each run and where water spills over today. We check that at the free estimate and put the size, downspout locations and footage in your written scope.
